Spencer is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record of building and nurturing strong client relationships. Since joining 13D Research & Strategy in April 2023, he has played an integral role in growing and managing the firm’s subscriber base across North America.
As a Vice President of Relationship Management, Spencer works directly with existing clients to ensure they’re getting the most out of 13D’s research, identifies and develops relationships with prospective clients, and plays an active role in the firm’s day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Prior to 13D, Spencer worked on the Institutional Sales Desk at B. Riley Securities, where he distributed equity research, facilitated corporate access meetings, and placed equity and debt offerings.

Spencer graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of Maryland and was selected for the Robert H. Smith School of Business Honors Program. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and supporting the Maryland and DC sports teams.
