Angela Li joined 13D in 2025 as an Associate Analyst. She assists Lei Yang in conducting research on the Chinese stock market and works as a co-editor in proofreading and publishing the Chinese and Lite English versions of our flagship publication, What I Learned This Week Lite. Recently, Angela has been focusing on topics such as the Chinese consumer sector, the pet economy, and Chinese tourism.
She enjoys the exciting pace of being involved in the research and publication of such a well-respected financial publication with a truly global scope and a team dedicated to the Chinese markets. Her passion for learning and growth enables her to continually enhance her professional skills, and she hopes to make progress in this field while contributing more value to the team.
Angela earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Xiamen University and her Master’s degree in Applied Accounting and Finance from Hong Kong Baptist University.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys traveling and taking leisurely walks, which serve as excellent means of exploring urban environments and relaxing. These activities also infuse her life with a sense of optimism. Additionally, she occasionally engages in physical exercise, with swimming being her favorite sport.
