Last week, we began a new series looking at the most important questions about the COVID-19 pandemic, initially focusing on what America must do to stop the spread of the virus.
This week, several European nations, including France and Spain, said they were planning their exit strategies from lockdown restrictions, as the number of new COVID-19 cases and deaths have begun to fall. Next week, Austria will allow small businesses to reopen.
However, the Asian nations that gained an early lead in controlling COVID-19, including Singapore and South Korea are moving in the opposite direction. The nations are tightening restrictions and implementing “international social distancing” following a resurgence in new cases of COVID-19.
